My love for events started at a very (very) young age. My family was involved with an incredible event company, and I got to watch the magic and hard work behind the scenes long before most people even knew what they wanted to be when they grew up. From the very beginning, I knew exactly what I wanted to do, and every step of my education and career has only confirmed it.
I dove into the industry headfirst, gaining experience in every corner of it all while event planning. I worked in floristry, rentals, and everything in between because I wanted to truly understand all the moving parts. Throughout the Ignited Events journey and even before it began, I learned that what makes events unforgettable is the energy, the laughter, the little moments people carry with them, and the joy that comes from celebrating together. I also learned how important it is to be the kind of planner who jumps into the boat with clients, sharing in the excitement, the challenges, and the celebration itself. That approach, combined with caring deeply about every relationship involved, from clients to vendors to anyone touching the day, became the fire that drives me and shapes every experience I create.
Outside of events, I’m a huge traveler (all thanks to my Colombian family) with a little spunky energy and a tiny hint of crunchy in my lifestyle—thanks to the women in my life. I love surrounding myself with the people I care about, seeking out the treasures in life, and recognizing how lucky and blessed we are to be here. Life is short, so why not enjoy each other’s presence in the best way possible?
That same spirit is what I bring to every event, making sure it’s not just planned, but felt, lived, and remembered. And while I may lead the charge, I certainly don’t do it alone. It is my team’s skill and manpower that make every detail shine. Stay tuned, there are so many unforgettable moments ahead.
